I'm probably somewhere between "occasionally" and "all the time", depending on your definitions. I reckon I have a Yes, Genesis or ELP day at least once every couple of months if not more.

I'm in the "rarely" class myself. Even when I start off listening to old Genesis, Yes, et al, I quickly loose interest. An exception would be listening to "Echoes" from Meddle, or the entire Lizard album from KC.

I listen to certain classics every month: Close To The Edge, Foxtrot, Thick As A Brick, etc. About 75% of my listening time is devoted to new music but that other 25% belongs to the 70s.

I'm used to work with headphones on and at least one of the old things is almost always in the playlist

None of these choices.
I'd say pretty frequently (so more than occasionally), but I also list a lot to more modern prog, so not "all the time". Today's plays have been Shattered Image by La Tulipe Noire (one of the best albums I've discovered in years) Second Life Syndrome by Riverside and The Visitor by Arena, but I've also given Moonmadness by Camel and The Tain by Horslips a spin. |

I mostly listen to the old prog classics when I am on a long road trip by myself.
We live in the Western USA, and some of our scenery is amazingly beautiful!! It is perfect for TFTO, CTTE etc. I dubbed this rock formation "Giants Under the Sun!" Edited by cstack3 - June 23 2021 at 20:14 |

I will lean more to All The Time, not sure how to quantify Occasionally. I listen to the old guard more than Occasionally.
Great progressive rock is great progressive rock anytime.

Yeah, I'm with the majority here: Occasionally.
I adore the classic acts and albums (and do on occasion trot them out for a listen), but I'm simply overwhelmed by all of the bands and albums I feel I need to catch up on/with. At this point I'm experiencing what could be called "Option Anxiety"! Life could be worse! Edited by Cylli Kat (0fficial) - June 25 2021 at 10:47 |

Yes but you consider 'newer' to mean the 80's.

That's roughly my ratio. But a lot of that 70's music isn't CTTE, Foxtrot and TAAB.
