I came upon this one-timer project (2005) via "Many Faces of King Crimson" compilation and was surprised not to see it on PA database. It's a recognisibly Crimsonian album project featuring drummer-vocalist Ian Wallace, saxophonist Mel Collins and guitarist Adrian Belew, all Crimso alumni. The music has traces of the Belew era King Crimson with some fusion flavour.

The Eclectic team in those days had quite a large backlog of evaluations to work through. Chris (seventhsojourn) would almost certainly have dropped a note in the team thread, so a topic search for "Fission" might reveal whether any comments were made in response, or if the suggestion ever got added to their task list.
