I was going to add more, but I decided to keep it to only four (was going to add a track from Rush's Test for Echo for more variety, but will stick with these).

A collection of longer tracks from their 1996 albums (in the case of NSRO there are two considerably longer but I like this one in the context of the others).

Cardiacs - Dirty Boy

North Sea Radio Orchestra - Kingstanding

Stereolab - Metronomic Underground

Swans - Helpless Child

Feel free to mention any others, I just ask you to also vote and comment on any (or all if you are the thorough type) of my choices.

swans again
Dig me...But don't...Bury me
I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive
Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect.

Right now I'm feeling the groove of Stereolab's "Metronomic Underground" so I will give that a vote, but it's something of a six minus two, half a dozen minus two of the other situation.

Funnily enough, 'Metronomic' is probably my least favourite from that album, 'Dirty Boy' it is!!

^ Funnily enough, that doesn't surprise me in the least. I like the Can and Neu!-like groove to it. I like its Mother Sky-like feel (to mention a favourite Can of mine). Dirty Boy is very special to me. I very nearly voted for Helpless Child, but then I thought that child wouldn't need my help in this poll (thought it would get "more vote" than it has by now).
