Can you pick one?
I've put other options if you cannot I've listened to both recently, I don't think they are bad albums at all. Sure, pretty far from their classic sound, but definitely not bad IMO.

The Single Factor is the most memorable album and the album that gets talked about the most around here, but probably for all the wrong reasons.

I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect. |

"Heroes, I call for you"...
To pick Camel's Single Factor. There are some poor tracks like You Are The One, Today's Goodbye(Which I had to skip due to its awfulness), and Manic. But some I really did like such as Heroes, Selva, Sasquatch, and A Heart's Desire/End Peace. It is mixed, I do think it is better than ICSYHFH due to TSF having more sufferable moments, but ICSYHFH has the worst song(Remote Romance) and beats TSF with Ice which is one of Camel's best songs.

Neither one of these are my "cup of tea," so I voted accordingly. If I had to pick, I guess it would be Caravan.

Neither album shows the respective bands on their "summits" and they are rather forgettable, but I still prefer The Single Factor over Back to Front.

Haven't heard either one, and don't think I want to.

Both albums are not among my favorites, but I don't dislike them either. Camel gets my vote.

I used to absolutely hate The Single Factor, but parts of it are actually very good (I really like You Are The One), though some bits are poor.
Back to Front is not good.

I put the "neither" option for anyone disliking these two albums. I explained in my initial post that I listened to both albums recently and that I don't think they are bad. Just curious what others think, that's all.

It's an anagram of Camel and Camel spelled backwards. I won't vote as I am not familiar with, in this case, a van car. Edited by Logan - October 26 2021 at 05:48 |
