 b) Matt DeMello is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist born in Providence, Rhode Island who cut his teeth in the Renaissance city's post-hardcore and math rock scenes before splitting for Brooklyn in 2014 to make his debut LP, 'There's No Place Like Nowhere'. The album blends an Antony & the Johnsons-style existential breakdown with plaintive soundscapes and odes to Pink Floyd's rueful and ambient arena epics and Bowie's Berlin trilogy.
