I consider these 4 Metallica albums to be their finest. Which do you prefer? Or do you have an alternative, in which case please mention it! Mine is ...And Justice For All. The first album of theirs that I heard, and the heavist thing I had heard at the time. Yes, I know, the sound....but the album's awesome!!

Definitely Master of Puppets for me. Great songwriting, a wonderful swansong for Cliff Burton, and one of the biggest influences on prog metal. Awesome stuff
