So the rules are that there are going to be multiple threads showing all of the Gentle Giant songs, and you could choose up from 3-10 songs from the threads. Not that much from each thread, but from all of the threads in total. It could be 10 songs from this one thread though, but the limit is ten through out the 4 threads.
In the week, I will tally up the results and then we will move in to the next round. Edited by SuperMetro - June 27 2022 at 15:26 |

I voted for
Giant Pantagruel's Nativity Edge of Twilight The Moon Is Down Schooldays The Advent of Panurge An Inmate's Lullaby Proclamation Another Show I Lost My Head (Edit: I gave myself a 11th vote, for Prologue. It's dearer to me than any song on Interview. But I think that album is underappreciated) ...but it wasn't all that thought through. Two Interview-votes is a bit too much - as I prefer their four first albums.

Their debut has become my second favorite album; most of my votes went there.

Hard to choose a song from the first three Gentle Giant albums. For very personal reasons, I vote for Three Friends, since it was like an anthem for two of my high school friends and I. I love them all though.

Although I also enjoy Octopus very much and music from all of the albums up to and including Interview, the first three albums are my particular favourites and I will give eight votes to one from this poll. In poll order:
Nothing At All Why Not? Pantagruel's Nativity The House, the Street, the Room The Moon Is Down (may be my favourite of all) Prologue Schooldays Three Friends Plus, for my ten total, I will give "The Advent of Panurge" from Octopus a vote in the next poll as well as "Way of Life" from In a Glass House. |
