What was the very first CDs you played in your CD players? How about vinyls for those old enough?
The first CD I played in my white van was Dream Theater's "Awake" with "New Millenium" on it, (burned version). The first CD I played in my families outback subaru impreza, which happened to be the very first CD played in there period was Dream Theater's "Scenes From A Memory". The first vinyl record I played in our turntable is Kansas's "Power". The first CD played in our old red van was The Beatles's "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band". Anything else, I have no clue. |

My first LP (1973) was a compilation album from The Golden Earring, a famous Dutch rock band from my hometown The Hague. The first time I listened to a CD (perhaps 1985?) was in a record store, JM Jarre with Magnetic Fields. I will never forget that I was waiting for the usual scratches and other noises but nothing and suddenly there was pure music!

My first two vinyls were "Abbey Road" (Beatles) and "Paranoid" (Black
Sabbath). First CD I really don't recall, but it might have been "Led Zeppelin II" to replace the vinyl copy which had been on the record player more often than anything else.
