Do you have the Esoteric reissue from 2022? I'm listening to the second disk, containing the Dierks Studio recordings from 72/73... some great jamming; if you love this album, it's WELL worth owning if you don't have it...

I don't (i only have the original vinyl double) but its one cd that i have considered buying (alongside the vinyl) for those extra studio jams alone.. They were one band who could, when the spirit moved them, really rip it up!

well, it's 75 mins worth of ripping it up; the jamming isn't even this extended on their live albums, they really were having fun, yet there is always a structural discipline to it. you probably won't end up playing this as often as the studio, but it's most definitely worth owning. MusicMagpie is the cheapest I can find it at present:

Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

Elbow - Audio Vertigo (LP, 2024)
Quirky Prog Art Rock, 4.5 stars, SPO
"Reminiscent of The Tea Party, but a bit more abstract. Really cool and interesting, quirky at times, but always following a clear path."
