I have been into listening to this one suite on DNA because it was very amusing and not that good. Very derivative in how it sounds too much like Jethro Tull but also really unique and entertaining because of the blues vocalist who could be the clown on the cover.

Jumbo is my fave Italian band (tied with Perigeo), and I prefer slitghly DNA to Vietato. The debut is pretty good, but very different. You might want to try the Live albm from 1990.

I like DNA and Vietato. I like the rough Tullish sound. I like the cutting edge subject matter too.
Consorzio Acqua Potabile (CAP) 2016 album features the Jumbo lead singer- Alfaro Fella and is my favorite Jumbo related album. |

Thoughtful, radical lyrics, standing out over the generally awkward literacy of Italian prog bands of the 70s (and of the rest of the world...). At par with Banco to that respect. Love Vietato. And Alvaro Fella is a Facebook friend ...

When I was doing my deep dive into the genesis of RPI a few years ago I fell in love with Jumbo's Vietato, not so much DNA. I was surprised so few others were extolling their virtues. Nice to see this thread.
