Pianist/keyboardist Vitalij Kuprij passed away. He was only 49 years old. Unhappy

I'm especially a fan of his band Artension.

Sad news, specially at that age, only 49. My condolences to his family, friends and fans.

This is very bad. I was listening to VVK3 few days ago. He was a virtuoso of both synth/piano and metal/classical. His piano lessons on youtube are great even if surely not for beginners. It's a sad loss.

So was I, where is keyboards really distinguished Artension from the usual bands in that genre, too many playing the same cliches

Didn't know he played for the Trans Siberian Orchestra as they have lost a lot of their members as well at relatively young ages as well
