A poll inspired by another poll. For me, LitOA and FtLoG are absolutely stunning and equal quality-wise. Top of the line Flower Kings bliss. But I'll vote for LitOA because it's a ~20 minute epic. Which song would you choose?

Took the time to listen reasonably well to the ones I had not known, and I end up going for the short and sweet "Love is the Word". "For the Love of Gold" is the one I had known best, but while it is good song, it had sounded rather too derivative of Yes for me.

“Love Supreme” gets my vote as it is one of my favorite songs of all time.

I mean, this comment could really be applied to most of the band's material.

I like the Flower Kings and all these songs are really good, but my vote goes to Love is the Only Answer.

I wanted to be gentle. That said, that is one where the derivativeness of Yes is a more obvious and off-putting factor for me in my appreciation despite actually preferring the music to most of what I have heard of The Flower Kings. Anyway, I am no The Flower Kings expert -- never been one of my preferred bands, and I'm not very big on Yes. Post 70s, I tend not to turn to the more Symphonic Prog type bands, preferring RIO/Avant, Post Rock, Zeuhl, experimental, Neo Psych and Neo Krautrock, various jazz and folk ones.... The Flower Kings Spa ce revolver was one of the first albums I purchased in the early 200s hoping to update my tastes in the prog world, but I really did not like it, especially as I found it so unpleasantly noodle-y, and kind of slick? I soon discovered Miriodor, and that was way more interesting to me.
