Both bands display a blend of Neo and Symphonic prog stylistics. The lead vocalists of both bands were incluenced by Peter Gabriel's mannerisms. In addition to that, Simone Rosetti of The Watch collaborated with Steward Bell of Citizen Cain.

I personally think, that The Watch's entire discography is excellent and pretty even in terms of quality. Citizen Cain on the other hand has only one truly incredible album (Somewhere but Yesterday), which to me is better than anything The Watch ever put out, but the rest of their output is only slightly above average.

The Watch easily.

I do like the other band, too.

A good question. I have several from both bands and would give The Watch a slight edge. My favourite album from both bands would be "Vacuum" by The Watch but those first two from Cyril and the boys would be my second and third picks between the two. So this is close for me. Italians this time.

Citizen Cain. Jupiter's Great Red Spot is a plate of high bologna and nose hairs.

You got some things mixed up. CC never had a song with this title.

I so agree with the topicstarter, SBY is a masterpiece but other CC releases are ermm different. The Watch on the other hand is consistently good (but only first two albums are brilliant in my book)
