Yes, this was inspired by the "Favorite Steves" poll. I'm sure I've forgotten somebody or am not aware of somebody well-loved, so I've included the "Other" option.

'Steve Machine-Gun Smith!'....
Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

The late Stephen Ross Porter aka Steve Peregrin Took (first Tyranosaurus Rex ( later T.REX) drummer/percussionist, at their debuts , the band was more a psych outfit imo

Hi,

STEVE BROUGHTON ... who supported so many folks out on the early HARVEST label, and he could play, rock, jazz and Roy Harper and then some. And his work with his brother in The Edgar Broughton Band ... is also very neatly done, and well thought out to make the music even better, though not always as appreciated as it should be I think.

Music is not just for listening ... it is for LIVING ... you got to feel it to know what's it about! Not being told!

I used to see Steve Tassler with Starcastle when they were first starting out, so I gave him a boost!

Good catch on Steve Upton!
