I’d like to suggest “enigmatic sound machines” for inclusion in progressive electronica or eclectic or whatever genre PA deems fit. Here is a link to their website. Former founder of ‘men without hats’ and his co-hort who I believe is or was a member here.

Enigmatic Sound Machines is a retro-futuristic musical project based in Montreal, Québec, founded in 2023 by childhood friends Jeremie Arrobas and Thomas Szirmay. Jeremie Arrobas, a multi-talented musician and producer, is known for his work with Men Without Hats and various solo projects. Thomas Szirmay, on the other hand, is a musicologist who wrote over 1000 reviews on progressive music; he is also a producer with expertise in progressive and electronic music. The duo reconnected during the pandemic and collaborated on creating music under the moniker Enigmatic Sound Machines. Their music combines elements of retro synth-pop with modern production techniques to create a refreshing take on electronic music that resonates with listeners on both an emotional and intellectual level; the music is indeed enigmatic and eerie, just like the duo's name would imply.

In September 2023, the project released a debut album titled "Telepathic Waves," which draws inspiration from the golden era of pop electronica with influences from artists like Ultravox, Depeche Mode, Gary Numan, Tangerine Dream, and Kraftwerk. The album features a blend of melodic compositions and thought-provoking lyrics that evoke emotions and nostalgia. Each track on the album offers a distinct musical experience, ranging from love songs to politically charged themes, delivered through captivating melodies and innovative soundscapes.

On their second album, released in May 2024, titled "The Hierarchies of Angels," the duo created a mesmerising musical odyssey delving into themes of spirituality, mysticism, and the divine. Enigmatic Sound Machines masterfully blend intricate soundscapes, pulsating rhythms, and haunting melodies to create a unique listening experience that transports the audience to otherworldly dimensions. The duo's meticulous attention to detail is evident in the lush textures and intricate layers that make up each track on the album. "The Hierarchies of Angels" showcases the duo's versatility and creativity in crafting immersive soundscapes that definitely set this interesting act in the sphere of progressive electronic music.

Thanks Moyan...  For providing more details.  I like their sound, it brings back just a hint of 80's synth in a much grander progressive type of package.  Very talented pair.
