Eclectic music from the non-Western world

With this thread, I'd like to put some more focus on artists from the non-Western world which blend some non-Western traditional/Classical music with Jazz/Rock/Folk. I reckon that this categorization is rather loose, but my favourite albums and some examples are something like:

Osibisa  (Africa)  -  Osibisa    (1971)
The "Gunesh" Ensemble  (Turkmenistan)  -  Looking At The Earth (1984)
Shankar  (India)  -  Song for Everyone   (1985)
Moussa Diallo  (Mali)  -  the-kékéliba-project  (1999)

	quality over quantity, and all kind of PopcoRn almost beyond

	Hasan Hajdar - Zebi (Tajikistan) This folk ballad has a certain mystical aura to it for some reason. It's very aetheral and uplifting but there's an element of sadness and solitude creeping in. I kinda wish I understood Persian/Tajik so that I have some sense of what the lyrics are about. xd

	Crazy to think that Osiris failed to make a name for themselves, even just locally in Bahrain itself. They were and still are a pretty underground band.
