Antarctica is a fiery debut from Nankai Trio. If you like upbeat fusion this comes highly recommended. The band is... Senri Kawaguchi (drums), Shoya Kitagawa (guitar), and Masatoshi Mizuno (bass). All three contribute compositions. If anyone else has heard them, what are your thoughts?

Hi,

Excellent stuff ... and in this group is by very far one of the finest drummers you will ever hear and appreciate.

Amazing work, and Senri is not exactly unknown, and goodness ... you would definitely pay to see that ... excellent, and a lesson for some of the over rated buffoons' that call themselves drummers in some progressive bruhaha bands!

I think that we spend a lot of our lives listening to music, but also, and above all, to appreciate some musicianship that is above and beyond the quality of a lot of music out there ... and when you find it ... goodness ... it's about time. And just so satisfying ... that you are dazed when the night is over!

Very special. The guitar and bass are also outstanding, and together, it looks like they orchestrated every moment and detail, as Senri is quite ready for each moment and change, as are the folks in this piece.

There are many videos of her work on the net, and she might only be not known here on PA ... but goodness, she is great on the drums ... and special.
Music is not just for listening ... it is for LIVING ... you got to feel it to know what's it about! Not being told!
