SPIRIT should be on the archives, this angers me, how are some bands on here but SPIRIT not?? I mean, even their first album, fresh garabge has so many elements to it that r just...well...PROGRESSIVE!!! not to mention twelve dreams!

I would say they were certainly a prog influence, given they combined psychedelia with jazz and even some classical. Besides, "Stairway to Heaven" is, as everyone knows, ripped off from their "Taurus".
