The Lamia-Genesis
Asylum-Supertramp
The Lamia is one that I try to avoid when in a good mood. It's one of the best on the album, but is so grim and marose it can easily bring me down. To be honest, Silent Sorrow In Empty Boats was pure genius being placed behind the Lamia to kind of bring one back into a mellower state.
There's plenty that are slow and upsetting, but I chose these two because they really are deep.

"Death to Utopia! Death to faith! Death to love! Death to hope?" thunders the 20th century. "Surrender, you pathetic dreamer.” "No" replies the unhumbled optimist "You are only the present."

All of Tull's Minstrel in the Gallery album, but especially Black Satin Dancer, Requiem, One White Duck, and Baker St. Muse. All those depressing songs in a row!

Marillion- Script for a Jester's Tear is the number one song with the ability to make me cry at the moment.
Apart from that it's ELPs Trilogy, Genesis' Seven Stones, Coldplay....a lOT of their songs...same with Radiohead.
