Hi. humm... im just a simple guy who got into prog about a year ago, and that i think is my best move in life so far. well ok i started listening to floyd when i was 6 but i didnt really understand them the way i do now. still they were are are the ones of my prog gods. after the floyd was the era of my life when i used to listen to techno, rap. but thankfully (god be praised) i came back firstly to punk, then power/heavy metal. then i found dream theater. thanks DT you have shown me the right path. now its about year when im into prog and never got bored of it ever. yes, king crimson,genesis,floyd,DT....what can i say? pure excellence:) thaks for your time that you wasted reading this

WELCOME BOY!
It's very pleasant to know that in just one year you fell in love with KC, Genesis, Yes and PF. So continue on...!
and do a favor to yourself... listen to SHADOW GALLERY as soon as possible...

OK boy, do not get in desperation!!!
All the releases of Shadow Gallery are highly recommended but if you want a point to start, personally I recommend "Tyranny"... an album that is the balance of the force of metal prog with the ambience and eloquence of symphonic rock. Tyranny is a conceptual album that was recorded to change music!!
Believe me, YOU need it!
...And by the way take into consideration the recommendations of listening to Rush, maybe you should try "Movin' Pictures", excellent album...!!!
