I agree in all these albums and their positions but, in my opinion, you forgot to mention Oceansize "Everything Into Position", Dream Theater "Octavarium" and Meshuggah "Catch 33"
And I May Just Waste Away From Doing Nothing But I'm A Martyr To Even Less

 I'm all for Deadwing as the #1 CD of 2005, but conspiculously missing is 'Second Life Syndrome' (as others have echoed) by Riverside. Haven't heard enough of the others to argue their merit or lack of it.

I have to say, though, I am pretty surprised to see Sigur Ros's Takk... so high up there. It came out pretty late in the year, I didn't think it would be recognized as much as it was. Then, of course, there was Neal Morse's ?, which I expected to be WAY higher. WAY higher.

Eh, oh well.

NO COMPLAINTS!

I have and enjoy all 5 of those albums. Especially nice to see Wobbler make it. So there is great new prog coming out in the 2000s after all. For those of us usually stuck in the '70s, that's a nice thing.
