I was thinking about TD and Froese this morning. It's gotten to the point with TD, for me anyway, I'm just not buying their music anymore! It all began sounding so much alike. And; this has been going on for a few years for me.
Of course, I have always enjoyed the Soundtracks, and other select albums. But; some of the crap Froese releases, really has me wondering; Why?
Make no mistake; I still love a lot of the early 90s stuff; "Melrose", etc... And; much of the 80s, as well. What do they have now, 900 albums??!! 'Just too much redundancy for me, anymore.

no need to explore their whole discography, there are lots of crappy albums! you can have for your money simply with these following albums:
- Tangerine Dream: Electronic meditation - Zeit - Alpha Centauri - Atem - Green Desert
- Edgar Froese: Aqua - Epsylon on a Malaysian pale
for Schulze's solo albums it's an other history!

“The Ones” is Edgar Froese’s first band before the launch of the electronic Tangerine Dream. This band was founded in 1965, considered as a psych, bluesy rock musical ensemble. They published their first single “Lady Greengrass” in 1967, followed by “Love of Mine”. The ones have been invited by Salvador Dali at his villa for an improvised performance! The band split up the same year. Edgar Froese leaves the band and began recruiting members for a free- experimental rock band…"electronic meditation" will be the album of transition.
