I have an album from this guy called End of Illusion, i think its completely prog, and im reading one note about him, he´s a keyboardist influenced by Yes and ELP,the album is full of rich analog synth sounds as well as input from many guest session players contributing guitars, bass, drums and violin works.

End of Illussion - 1982

Have you ever listened to this album??

Im sure Anders Helmersson should be in the archives.

so here i am again... struggling with his addition

Classically trained pianist, this keyboardist presents his compositions and arrangements, armed with his stack of analog keyboards. End of Illusion was recorded over a three year period, the production includes numerous guests on guitars, bass, drums and violin. The sound is naturally dominated by classical themes on keyboards and the arrangements are rich and symphonic. The style bring to mind those of extravagant keyboardists like K. Emerson and R. Wakeman. Should please those who enjoy excellent technique and the sounds of good old keyboards.

Here some reviews in his homepage....

Anders is from Sweden. This sole release by Anders was composed and recorded over the period of 3 years from 1979 to 1981 and was released in 1982 with a very small distribution. By the song titles, and the fact that he is pictured with a Star Wars shirt, it seems that he has an interest in "nerdy" things. Not, that there is anything wrong with that :-) Sometimes, the album is a bit too academic to create music of a memorable quality.

progreal audio - germany

" one of the best keyboard progressive albums in a long time"

Cyclops USA

“-Wow! I have always loved this power-packed keyboard-laden album of heavy progressive rock.  This Swedish keyboard player really created a good companion album for the Patrick Moraz album “I”.”

Shroom - Texas

you can find his music, bio in his site..

Give a chance!!
