Welcome! I attended a U.S. citizenship ceremony last week and one of the people being sworn in as a U.S. citizen was a lady from Canada. It struck me as so odd, this lady among a room full of Sudanese and Bosnian refugees, poverty-stricken Mexicans, and professional Indians and Taiwanese. Here we have American students who travel through Europe these days passing themselves off as Canadian (either for their safety, or out of shame), and there was this very non-descript Canadian lady standing there taking an oath to fight in defense of our country if called, and to renounce allegiance to her former land. It was quite surreal.
But I digress. Again - welcome here, where in theory none of that matters.

Hello Infinate Adam.
We stayed in Windsor for a week, Hamilton is very near, that part of Canada looks like Holland: flat, with all those grain fields, only you have a lot more sun, is that correct?

Kind of. Windsor is about 3 hours west of me. It's a bit flatter out there with lots of open space between major cities.
Hamilton is part of "The Golden Horseshoe" and rests on the Niagara escarpment. So we actually have The Hamilton Mountain(not a real mountain, just higher land), a valley, and we sit on Lake Ontario. Niagara Falls is not that far from me.
It's not the cleanest city in the world (we have 2 big steel companies), but I live on the outskirts, which is quite nice. Lots of farms and open land.

From Windsor we went to The Niagara Falls, lots of small towns between are named after English towns, like Hamilton. The Niagara Falls are very crowded and commercial but it is an amazing to see these two Falls (Canadian and USA), it's drizzling all the time because of the water drops and you can see all the time a double rainbow, I have made wonderful picture and surely want to return to this era (we stayed in St. Catherins). Good to hear that you live in such a natural enviroment, that's what many people nowadays are missing, we are loosing our 'touch' with nature, this causes lots of stress and agression!
