A book on European prog came out in 1981 called  "Scented Gardens Of The Mind - A Guide To The Golden Era Of Progressive Rock In Europe 1968-1980"  By Dag Asbjornsen, Border line Productions, ISBN 1-899855-12-2. Not in print anymore as far as I know but features Scandinavian bands as well as bands from Eastern and Western Europe.

Think you would do better with say New Gibraltar's Progressive Rock Encyclopedia's definitions of progressive rock as a whole, than some English speaking market's best of that ignores the rest of the world's contribution during the 70's for instance.

Kinda like a the Worlds Best Beer Guide that only reviews American brewers and disregards Ale producers as a whole. On the Lame Brain side from my view.

Looks great.

I'll keep a look out.

Needs a Yes logo on the cover though.

Dude, that looks awesome.  And for that price I'll be sure to pick one up.  Thanks a lot for the work, and for creating/maintaning this site.

I have this picture in my mind of all the proheads here sleeping right next to the publishing factory where they print this waiting in line to receive their copy - It will be like in the premier of Star Wars in the US. People will sleep in tents and fight over the last copies...

Looks like it could be a handy reference. When will it be available for purchase?
