While A New Hope is special to me because I can remember how awed I was watching it for the first time in the theaters in 77,The Empire Strikes Back is the best of the trilogy.

I had to go for the original. I saw it when it first came out and the impact it had was way above anything I had seen before. I was still flying on my walk home from the cinema. In fact I can still remember it now. It was just so awesome - probably the only film living up to the pre-release hype.
Usually the greater the hype the crappier the film. Not Star Wars IV |

For me it´s the Empire strikes back...I find it to be the darkest, most mature ...and it´s when you know the truth about Darth Vader!!! That scene is such a classic!
