It may sound weird but it's not.Avoid the first album , attack of the grey lantern (Even though you might find some prog-elements ) and try listening to the album 'Six'.I don't know if anyone has ever mentioned it but they are really underrated propably because they starded as a brit-pop band.So what ?Do you remember pablo honey and the bends from Radiohead?

A young open-minded prog fan got me to introduce him to the old school of prog, whilst introducing me to the new: Radiohead, Dave Matthews Band and Mansun were included in his introduction. Six was the starting point, and would agree there you can find some proggie elements, however, right on the borderline. I bought their follow-up album - forgotten what it was called, that's much I've bothered with it  - I think I felt they shifted their sound to a more straight forward pop, almost if they had got the message about Six being proggie and got the hell out of it.

The third album was called Little Kix and it was the one which broke up the band..
