Here in Italy he has become very popular, what about the rest of the world?

My fav is The Da Vinci Code.     Dan Brown is good, altough he is not my cup of tea, I prefer other literary genres.

And your fav?

He's very popular here in Finland too. Based on the charts his books seem to be the only ones that sell, both Angels & Demons and The Da Vinci Code are in the top five TWICE (with pictures and without pictures). I haven't bothered to read any of them.

I read in "The Da Vinci Code" in about a day, it was really an adictive read. But I did found it dissapointing, poorly written and way to fantasised. I didn't get the fuss about the books, it wasn't even original (Foulcault's Pendulum, anyone?). After that I didn't want anything to do with Dan Brown.

Then, by sugestion of a very literate friend, I found myself reading "Angels and Demons". I couldn't believe it was the same author. Everything in A&D was better: the writting, the plot, the characters, the non-fiction contents... Fantastic job.

Da Vinci Code - 6/10

Angels & Demons - 9/10

Of course there is always this gem: A.R.R.R Roberts "Va Dinci Cod". 10/10

Bigger on the inside.
