'Together we're heavy' byThe Polyphonic Spree was released in 2003. It's quite a strange record composed by PS mastermind Tim DeLaughter and produced by Ex-Capatain Beafheart keyboarder  Eric Drew Feldman. The record is heavily influenced by the  'The Beatles' and 'The Beach Boys' .(their progressive side) and the whole record is conceived as a long suite alternating Symphonic Pop songs and instrumental passages for Orchestra and Choir. The songs are pure pop, but the arrangements and orchstrations go far beyond traditional pop arrangements, some of the tracks even  experimental and the record is worth checking out. A beautiful record!

"Hey there! Rotter's Club!
Explain the meaning of this song and share it"

I actually have a soft spot for these guys myself, I prefer "Beginning Stages"... simplistic and memorable ditties,  sweet cotton candy music, maybe not all that nutritional but tastes delightful for the moment its going down,

Decent band, I've never really thought of them as prog though.

Catchy without being obnoxious, and that's got to count for something! (not with regards to them being prog, though )
