I would show him/her, Selling Englan By The Pound, or Birds Of Fire, or Neal Morse - ? , if he/she  doesn't like any of those, i give up.

The Dark Side of The Moon. Easy to listen and not a bad introduction to prog.

Prog Metal for somebody who hates prog? I think it's not a good idea. Dream Theater would be a shock to him (or her), let alone bands like Tool or any of the math-metal pioneers. Better stick to mellower offerings. I think Camel and Renaissance would be great for a start, as well as 80's and 90's Rush (less aggressive and song-oriented).

I think the correct sense is that he ask for a particular prog record to "convert" someone who hate progressive music!

A sort of progrock "proselytizer" album !

The "the one person odiail prog" could be changed in: "the one person who hate prog".

In fact the word ODIAIL is a mix between two italian words: ODIA (HATE) IL (THE).Wink

Can you confirm, Andrea? (aka MANDRAKEROOT)

I should make to listen to a Prog disc to a that odiail Prog. What disc I use? That is to say: What disc is the better one to make enchant a person of the Prog?

For me: Camel: "The Snow Goose"

For always yours, Mandrakeroot.
