This band is for sure post rock. they are post rock like Godspeed you black empreror! but they started before. here is the homepage of rachel's http://www.rachelsband.com/

they use cello, violin, viola, piano, drums, trumpet, clarinet etc. they are great.

Yeah, Javier shared to me a couple of songs of them, and i think they sound quite post rock, besides, they are older than Godspeed for example

Another thing that Rachel's music have is that they have a very stronge Influence in classical music of the XIX & XX century.

The sea & the bells (1996) is one of their best albums and they were; i think; an Inspiration to godspeedSmile Development.Lamp
