This is me. Do I (as sometimes mused by my guitar teacher, and others...) look like a Young Steve Howe?

Just the same hair and almost the same face shape. But as far as I'm
concerned he didn't use Gibson or any Gibson-like guitars, did he?

I agree, not so much Howe but definitely Mustaine.

If someone told me I looked like Steve Howe, I'd punch him in the face until he looked like Steve Howe!
You do resemble Steve Howe slightly, but I wouldn't have made the connection if you hadn't mentioned it.
