Hi everybody.

Today I received the new edition of Porcupine Tree "Stupid Dream", bought directly from the band shop.
I bought it because I heard the album was great, and also the bonus DVD with 2 more mixes (5.1 and 24 bit stereo high res) of the songs and various extra were more than welcome.

However, having 3 versions of the same album in one single package seems to make little sense to me; I would prefer to get bonus or unreleased tracks when I buy a CD that (probably) I already own; moreover, new tecnologies like the 5.1 mixes need systems of a certain quality to be fully appreciated, and not many people can afford to buy such things like home theatres or DVD-A drives.

What do you think?

You can buy the Logitech X-530 sound system for your computer, and a cheap Creative Audigy sound card. Then you'll be able to listen to the DVD-A on your computer. It's quite affordable (100€ tops).
