Has anyone of you heard about the famous 'Cirque du soleil' ? The soundtracks to their shows are truly magic, full of varied instruments (chinese violins, african harp for instance), and musical styles, ranging from classical music to world music, ethnic elements (reminiscent of some works by Peter Gabriel) with many various languages, pop (not far from what Kate Bush was doing in the eighties) and obviously circus music (plus the imagery very close to earlier Marillion's). Don't you think that the conception of their musical directions (a syncretism of very diverse musical styles and the meeting of asian, african and latine cultures) is very close to the conception of the 'progressive movement'  ? By the way, 'O' is one of their best records.

Cirque is a must see, I've seen just one of the smaller troupes, but it was so damn cool, not a dull second, amazing and funny - Highly Recommended!
