I highly recommend this album to all friends of intelligent prog metal - surely in my top 10
and I have to say I am amazed this band is not discussed in the archives...
 any thoughts welcome...

Despite the presence of Roy Khan, I always found Conception a little boring.

IMO their strong element was Ostby's riffs and of course Khan's voice...
I am amazed you find them boring...
Khan is now the best thing in Kamelot's music also
