The thing I hate most is the way most great prog acts just stop from evolving after the critics acclkaim an album of theirs after being their detractors. Ah, well...

Can't remember any boat parties.. except on the river in Montreal during 77 rehearsals... but thats funny. hmmm  However, he's supposedly down in the Caribbean right now for the Holidays...maybe I should fly down and tempt him with a boat ride...

Just to add to the topic... what I hate about prog... the fact that even for those prog bands that are still active and playing... seeing them live is still not easy.

I saw Yes live in August... almost shat my pants when they started CTTP 

But, speaking of Yes, some of the great prog acts have hosted some of the worst lyricists. KC, Yes, ELP... horrible. Not that all of those acts had intended for their lyricism to be great, but really... the whole rearrange your liver to the solid mental grace from CTTP still get me. I'd love an explanation from Mr.Anderson about that one.

yeah, I saw 'em in Universal city w/ Dream Theater in September. Amazing show. Dream Theater was good as well.
