What happend to Steve Howe?    My god he looks worse than Keith Richards?  Lost a lot of weight it appears and missing a tooth?  Looks like a meth addict.

Morrissey did a TV interview a couple of months ago and said he has exactly 7 friends. I bet one of them is Hammill - that's how swell a guy he is.

Well, it was quite all in fun but seriously Steve Howe does not look really healthy.  You can be 60 and still look fit if not young.

Pheasants are definitely prog - but I'm not too sure about partridges.

This is interesting to note in the light of comments he made about punk at the time; 'We listened to the Sex Pistols and all we could hear was a lack of talent'. Stardom appears to be no friend of geniality.

Be careful of who you disrespect on the way up, you may meet them again on the way down.

If you're gonna show that picture.. might as well finish it off-- Here's Alan White attending a Keith concert...

Even Alice Cooper came to see Keith

and then Jordan Rudess with Keith, Rick and Bernie Worrel... Jordan said he was in 7th Heaven BTW

The sad thing is, if we all got together at some point, I suspect we would look fairly similar

I heard that the Marillion fans give Peter Hammill a pretty poor reception when he supported the band duing the 80's. Fish apparently, gave them a real dressing down during the Marillion set.

Mind you, Marillion fans are/were notorious for being hard on support bands.

I was there and believe me he deserved it. The most dull set/performance I have ever seen.

I think he thought he was preaching to the converted and got it all wrong. The vast majority of the crowd had not even heard of him.

I don't know - he got a fairly good reception at St Albans when I was there (especially when he sang 'Imperial Zeppelin')

^ Y'see, this is why I come here. I get to discuss really obsure things like fan reaction at Marillion gigs.

How cool is this?

I read somewhere that Geddy Lee from Rush said that he and Alex were trying to make music "akin to Yes meets Led Zeppelin." There's the explanation for how Rush became the grandfathers of prog metal.
