This early prog band from Belgium (circa 1970) played an ELP-type of organ rock with dark and gothic overtones before it was cool. Formed by none other than Jean-Luc Manderlier (Magma) and drummer Daniel Denis (Univers Zero), Arkham were an important European band not to be overlooked.

I own it and can say it's certainly an interesting document. Don't expect any RIO really, the material is more like Egg, Soft Machine, and sometimes, Nucleus. Well worth picking up, although the sound quality is not amazing, that doesn't bother me though.

No, the sound isn't great but on further listenings, it proved to be quite enjoyable from a historical perspective. In fact, Cuneiform's 2002 release is the only one around and was derived from old tapes of sessions and live shows. Thanks for the feedback.
