From a mod for DOOM3 that introduces the first chapter of classic Doom. Is that prog or what! EDIT: as I understand the link failed, so I updated it. Edited by JrKASperov - October 13 2006 at 10:19 |

Recording real versions of those songs... it just HAD to be done... the song from the first mission has such a killer riff. I still prefer the original versions though. If I remember well, the first one sounded more pointy, and the second one more creepy. It could also be nostalgia though... or the images that accompanied the music... o yeah right - it was a game!
Thanks Kas. Cool stuff! |

Actually no, the times that music was progressive for games is long gone...
Listen to any music from Megaman, Daggerfall, Doom, and the oldschool adventures. Sad really, those games are regarded as the best, and I think it really has to do with the music. |

You must be playing the wrong games then, mate.
I can't imagine that a game like this: http://www.allgame.com/cg/agg.dll?p=agg&sql=1:50531 doesn't have great prog game music! |
