Reed: The album you show is a Japanese release of ths album:
The album you post is not even in their discography because it wasn't released by the band named The Crazy World of Arthur Brown, but by Arthur Brown in 1968. Album which is a masterpiece.
The band named The Crazy World of Arthur Brown was formed in 1974.

Oh yeah! I've always wanted to play my part in the archives and now I have! Does anyone know how I can submit one of their mp3s to the archives? (By the way, if I've submitted a band bio, do I get a little "collaborators" tag? )

Thanks Gdub , but in this case it's only casual because I'm a fan of Arthur Brown and his album The Crazy World of Arthur Brown which I consider probably one of the best albums in Psychodelia history.
And the Japanese thing, well I cheated, because it's obvious by looking at the picture that it's made exclusively for Japan because of the alphabet used, and because they mention the two most popular tracks of the album outside UK (Nightmare and What's Happening), in England was Fire.
By the way, probably Kiss and Alice Cooper copied Arthur Brown's makeup, cause this photos were taken in the 60's:
As The God of Hell Fire
The original makeup
Probably even Gabriel took some ideas from Arthur Brown's theatrics, so you can imagine how influencial he is.

Arthur Brown was one of the craziest and most influential musicians of the British Psychedelia movement.
His most famous album The Crazy World of Arthur Browm is considered to be one the best elaborated albums of that movement, Carl Palmer played in this album and ELP plays a version of Fire (His UK hit) in The Return of the Manticore.
The side A of this album is often considered the best side of any pre 70's album.
After this album he changed the name of the band to the name of the album and continued playing with less success up to the 70's with his new band Kingdom Come, he was recently on a new tour withthis last band.

Before becoming the god of hellfire*, Arthur Brown was apparently a philosophy lecturer at London University. His backing band became Atomic Rooster, so he got a new band together. The guitarist was called Android Funnel, because, Arthur helpfully explained, he was an android who wore a funnel on his head. His musical output has been very uneven, but the world would have been a lot more boring without him in it.
*Who brought you fire.
