18 and I'm still struggling with a lot of stuff. Still don't
know my myxlodians from my phrygians (and don't really care to), my classical technique is rubbish and my soloing is largely about 40 takes worth before something usable is down ..... but every day, in every way - i'm approaching mediocrity! |

18...been playing not seriously since i was 6.
Thats weird you started this thread...i had the BEST guitar jam of my life last night. My sh*tty band was over for practice so i just started jammin out some crazy sh*t. I played the first 5 minutes of close to the edge and the star spangled banner within the 20 minute jam. It refueled me to start up guitar seriously again. |

Some 20+ years... however, for a few years I didn't play at all and then picked it up again. The worst part was that I sold every axe I had and when I started to play again it costed me a fortune to get some playable gear together again (and it's still is a bottomless pit to pour money into... |

You should try playing the drums...talk about a bttomless pit to pour money into ...still an addiction for me im not looking to break for a long time though |
