I always put the instruction manual of whatever new  thing I have.  Right now, it's the manual for Reason 3.

Does reading in the shower count, or only on the toilet?

I am guilty of reading in the loo. Nothing too heavy mind. Keith Emerson's biography was one. Other than that its been car magazines, currently a book on the Spitfire, not usually the newspaper though any spare copies of the Daily Mail can be found hanging up ready to use...........

My sister gets very annoyed with me because I take whatever I happen to be reading in the bathroom, and if it's a page-turner, I may be in there a while.
