How many reviews do I need to write to become a Prog Reviewer?

Just a friendly word, Bartek.
The tag (prog-reviewer, collab) means nothing if the person behind it does not justify it (in several means). And on the other end, the lack of a tag does not make you any less worthy. I think you are a valuble member and like your reviews and appreciate the work you've done on adding Nurt - which helped me get acquainted with a Polish band I did not know (and I hope to learn more from you as well as from others).

Keep on the good work, and I believe you will earn your objective.

Well said Avestin,

The other general point I'd emphasise is that it is not just about quantity. The quality of the reviews is a big factor in the consideration of future PRs.

Cry

I will never gonna be a Prog Reviewer!!! My english sucks and I just contribute to this great website with three of four adds of bands/albums/bios...

Buaaaaaaaa!!!

Anyway... don't care... the site is great and I feel that I don't need to be a Reviewer or a Colaborator to keep helping PA with some little but always important details...

Peace & love and keep on proggin'!

If you don't feel you reviews are up to it progadicto, how about a collaborator role.

There are numerous specialist teams and other tasks which are shared among the collaborators. Have a look at the Collaborator list (from the tab on the home page) and see if any of their titles appeals to you.

(This isn't an offer as such, jsut a pointer in the right directionWink)

In fact, we are "in need" of Technical Collaborators... some guys are doing a double-journey and they need help. Unhappy

Anyway, the request for promoting a senior member to the Collab role comes generally from the team leaders. Smile

The Genre Specialist Teams, SD... some are in lack of people while some guys (Collaborators and SCs) are doing jobs here and there to help these teams less populated.

For the promotion case, it's expected that the new Collab may have a good relation with their team mates. That's the reason, in general, the request comes from the team leaders. Approve

^ I see. Thank you for that clarification. I have been away for a while and am slowly feeling my way back in. I was wondering if a diferent job might help, that is why I was curious.

If I review all the albums that I have of one band (like I have 14 Rush albums)and they seem to be good, would that help contribute to being suggested as a PR? Or should I review a diverse selection of albums?
