I think that without keyboards, prog wouldn't be prog. I voted keyboards-and all types: organs, Rhodes piano, synths, Mellotrons, you name it.

Keyboards are used to add flavour to a song well(RickWakeman), and can carry songs as well(vdGG).

I voted ... Can't get enough of ellipsis solos.
I much prefer the analogue ellipsi to the digtal...
