Any Blackfield fans out there?

Just got the new Blackfield album "Blackfield II" in the post today and I have to report that it is a total triumph.

Great, great songs, superb musicianship and wonderful production.

Its certainly not Prog and it doesnt, for the most part, rawk, but it delights and surprises in equal generous measures. A very muture and accomplished modern rock album - someone should send a copy to Coldplay and demand that they retire...oh,I forgot they have....LOL

Go get it now! That's an order!Wink

You can hear samples of each song here:

If you have Napster or Itunes its on there too...

For me a 9/10 album, at least!Clap

Just a point, It says in the booklet "produced and mixed by Steve Wilson in Tel Aviv and London Feb-June 2006.

So why did it take so long to release? I have seen the album available for download for over a month now, surely releasing the album earlier would trump this?
