When I'm in the mood, it's ok...

But I've definitely heard much better.

I would have really liked them to change back, at the end, to the style it began with. But, alas. Disapprove

Okay. I really like the actual "song", but the end sounds a bit boring to me.

The first few minutes are great afterwards it just becomes boring, without that overstretched part ITCOTCK would be an almost perfect album IMO.

it's excellent. I also like everything that happens on SaBB so maybe my sense of good taste has taken up residence in the court of the noodling king

So I guess I am alone in suggesting that Moonchild is an essential part of ITCOTCK and an amazing song with cool noodling.

Except for laplace. He seems to agree with me (in part).

I mentioned SaBB because it's the definitive KC noodlage album unless you can afford that four-disc live set. half of the thing is culled from live performance including the final track which is my personal favourite thing that came out of Fripp's guitar.

I agree with you in saying that is an essential part of ITCOTCK, but I wouldn't say the whole song is "Amazing!"...

Should I vote for "Noodling is cool"? Ermm

I really like the vocal section; it has a nice melody but I usually skip over the 'noodling' section and go to the last track so Ill compromise and say "okay". This is the only thing that keeps ITCOTCK from being a flawless album IMO.

The first 2-3 minutes are excellent. The noodling part is good for imaging stuff.

I like the "noodling" and think there is a lot more than "noodling" going on. if you listen carefully you will find some amazing interplay: there is a real dialogue going on. and, of course, when they finally decide on a certain rhythm (for about the last minute or so, I never measured it), it is the perfect intro for "In the Court of the Crimson King". that alone would be enough for me to never skip the "noodling"

I quite like it, it's a bit overlong but I find it more enjoyable than their later long songs, like Starless or Fracture.

The actual song is fantastic, and while the extra 10 minutes of noodling might not be the most common thing, I like it, its distingtive...and well...you just will never hear me say anything bad about ITCOTCK...its my favorite album of all times after allEmbarrassed

Definitly, there is more to ir than just noodling. It is known that bald women speak of great truths...this is no exception
