Nothing on this list really interests enough to vote for it. But I have ten other favorites (stole five of them fron Assaf's list):

ZAMLA MAMMAZ MANNA
Familjesprickor (Family Cracks)
ROMAN BUNKA
Mein Kopf ist ein schlafendes Auto

PICCHIO DAL POZZO
Abbiamo Tutti I Suoi Problemi

WOLFGANG BOCK
Cycles

Have yet to hear Abus Dangereux

Over land and under ashes
In the sunlight, see - it flashes
Find a fly and eat his eye
But don't believe in me
Don't believe in me
Don't believe in me

I find this list not too much suiting my tastes, apart from Rush.

I prefer this list which is partial as well:

makes much more sense to me!
maybe this thread should be called Best NOOB's Album of  1980, or the Stuck in my box and you cant make me leave album of 1980! Confused

Manfred Mann's Earth Band - Chance. Maybe not the best from the list, but it's the 1980 album i have the softest spot on these days.
The 1980 albums of Genesis, Rush, Yes, Eloy and Kansas are also favourites of mine.Big%20smile

2. Rush- Permanent Waves
3. Peter Gabriel III
4. Yes- Drama
One likes to believe
In the freedom of music
But glittering prizes
And endless Compromises
Shatter the illusion
Of integrity
