My name is Aaron. I am from a small hick town. I play bass and sing clean vocals in a christian prog death/thrash/tech. metal band. My fav. genres are Metal, prog., classic rock, folk, classical, ambient, fusion, and jazz. Fav. bands are opeth, extol, pos, death, nile, CYNIC, tourniquet, aletheian, watchtower, alarum, yes, rush, king crimson, soft machine, weather report, return to forever, jaco, vic wooten, sheehan, hamm, adrian davison, btbam, spiral architect, psychotic waltz, and eluvietie.

Finally someone who knows and likes bands like Tourniquet and Psychotic Waltz.
 However there are some bands in your fav. list that I have never heard of. Do you have some recommendations on bands like Tourniquet / PW which I should check out?
Did you ever encounter the bands Believer or Meliah Rage. If not you should definitely check them out. Especially Believer might be very interesting for you (christian thrash/prog metal). Unfortunately not yet featured on PA.
