No competition here, Zero Hour wins and crushes their opponents in this tiny fight :P

Tool
Fates Warning has no chance to win (against any band)
And Zero hour, maybe I'll add it to my wishlist.

"Specs of Pictures Burnt Beyond" is a huge album for ZERO HOUR,the song writing is beyond reproach, and the vocals are great."Lateralus" is a huge album too,i love the heavy drums leading the way,and the dark sound. My vote though goes to FATES WARNING for having a few "huge" albums over their careers. But that's my opinion.

of the three, I only have a Zero Hour Cd (although Tool is on my wishlist...)
But I still said Zero Hour cause I do like the Cd I own of theirs. Well, I used to, but lately I haven't listened to it that much. |

I wonder how many of those who voted for Tool are actually familiar with Fates Warning's music.

I am not familiar with Zero Hour.
Fates Warning rules. Can't think what would prog sound like today, were it not for Jim Matheos's amazing compositions/riffs and Mark Zonder's unbelieveable drumming. And Ray Alder is a hell of singer.
For more reference check A Pleasant of Shade of Gray, or Disconnected or Parallels, or Inside Out.
My vote is TOOL though. Inevitably Genius.

I am familiar with all three of them. Started with Fates W, passed to Tool and somewhere in the way found Zero Hour.
Fates Warning have my respect, Zero Hour are on the right way but...
My vote goes to Tool. They are by far the best... and their live performances are quite unique... Edited by Sophocles - April 17 2007 at 07:20 |

Fates Warning crushes the mechanically-organized noise that is Tool...good band but not like FW.... Zero hour has no business with the other two... |

Tool for me,naturally.
I bought the Night on Brocken ALBUM in 1984 when I was 18 years old,so I am pretty familiar with them.I hated them at first,I thought they were Iron Maiden rip-offs.
