Hard to choose...Mental Notes kind of stands apart in its weirdness. Of the rest, I chose the one with "Bold as Brass"!

Second Thoughts or Time And Tide.

Well, I think Time And Tide is their most mature album. The band members themselves thought it was their best album. The Finn brothers competing like Lennon and McCartney to write some of the best songs they ever did, there's a lot of variation, Eddie Rayner writes one of the best instrumentals he ever did... Top album! Clap

I'm stuck, I think Mental Notes is probably their best in terms of progginess but Time and Tide and Dizrythmia are both Excellent. All their albums are great except for their last two. So I haven't voted yet.

I gave my vote to "True Colours", because that was the album that really endeared me to Split Enz and was a favourite at many parties when it came out!! Wink

I also remember trying to decide which colour album cover to go for as it was released in 3 (correct me if I am wrong) different colour combos as well as on laser disc. Hugely popular at the time and an album which is packed full of great tracks - admittedly not as proggy as earlier albums - but still a classic NZ music album Smile
